Honourable Jacob Hara, M.P., Minister of Transport and Public Works held a bilateral meeting with his counterpart, His Excellency, Abdessamad Kayouh,
Minister of Transport and Logistics for Morocco on 20 February 2025 on the sidelines of the Ministerial Conference on Road Safety.
The two Ministers discussed areas of cooperation based on the commitments the two governments have outlined in the Joint Commission of Cooperation (JCC) and the Memorandum of Understanding on Technical Cooperation in Roads and Highways Infrastructure.
The Ministers appreciated the strengthening diplomatic ties and bonds of cooperation between the two countries, which have already started bearing fruits.
Under the Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, May God Assist Him, the Ministry of Transport and Logistics in collaboration with the World Health Organisation (WHO) organized the Fourth Global Ministerial Conference in Road Safety from 18-20 February 2025, at the Palais de Congres in Marrakech.
Hon Hara led the Malawi Delegation to the conference consisting of senior technical officials.
